New riki jackets just arrived in wonderful Italian wools that are fully lined in solid black as well as tweeds in fall colors. Great for work when paired with skirts or slacks or just with jeans for a refined but casual look.















We love Rachel Pally dresses. Great quality, impeccable fit, fun colors-- dresses that can go from day into evening just by changing accessories.













IKKS, cotelac, and riki merchandise well together in this urban fall look. Wear it with ankle boots (see this month's look) or tall boots and you are ready to go.

Italian Wools

Just a few teaser pictures of styles from our new Italian shipment that's already on its way. We can hardly wait to get it into our stores. Everything sold out so fast last time that we started a waiting list for the new arrivals. We will send out an emailer when everything gets here. Fall Pieces by Neen

We just received our new fall shipments from France we had so been waiting for. There are some absolutely fabulous pieces from Neen, such as this heavier gauge knit top. What a back! It looks so refined that it can easily be worn as an evening top over a satin skirt or trouser pant, or over a lightweight long sleeve layering piece for a more polished day look. Either way it will be a showstopper!

There are also chunky cable knit cardigans in sophisticated grey tones, a long merino wool knit coat as well as fine gauge knit dresses in muted purple hues and black. These are very special pieces, refined in their detailing and construction and impeccable in fit, I absolutely love them!

Delicious Hues

I’m somewhat obsessed with color this season, in particular with marigold, orange and plum tones and I can tell many of you must be, too. It all looks so fresh when paired with every grey tone (and there are certainly many of them this season), black and dark chocolate brown. As one of my favorite customers said to me the other day, “it looks delicious in here.”

Fall Palette

I talked with a lot of you at the sidewalk sale and the same question kept coming up: "What are the colors going to be for fall?"

For the upcoming season, Europe as well as the US seem to have agreed on the same color palette of rich plums, greys (with plum or taupe undertones) ink blues, browns and black as base colors, using vivid greens, autumn yellows, red and white as accents. Many mauve tones that we saw for spring in the European lines show up again for fall and look very sophisticated when combined with grey or black.

And there will be prints, big bold prints in the above colors, some of which we have in production right now.
