Mid-February Looks at Our Stores

Our shipment from IKKS, France just arrived and I’m so excited. It’s just so nice to see a line that is young, urban and spot on when it comes to fabrics, detailing and color.

Sleeveless handkerchief linen dress in poppy color with side pockets, all the right style lines and fitted jersey slip in white under a coated cotton swing style spring coat - similar in design to our white IKKS jacket in this weeks look - above knee length.

The black asymmetrical jumper by cotelac, France contrasts well with a simple crewneck rayon/lycra T-shirt in citron for a fresh early spring look. Looks great when paired with leggings, boots and long blazer.

I love this 50’s inspired dress by ellera, in black coated cotton/lycra with its fitted bodice, beautifully tailored ruffle neckline, full gathered skirt with side pockets and wide fabric belt to tie either in front or back, very couture! Made right here in San Francisco.

The Amgen bicycle race is coming to Davis this Sunday, February 15th and everybody is more than excited to see Lance Armstrong do some laps around town during stage one of the race before heading out towards Santa Rosa. This ‘world class’ sports event is expected to draw some 20,000 visitors to our bike friendly city of Davis and should be a lot of fun for everybody to see, rain or shine. We are trying to set up a TV set in our store, so let’s hope we’ll get it to work. See you there!

February Looks

Some early February looks from our store:

A splash of color- I love yellows with black right now-gives our long vest in black microfiber a lot of pizazz. The feel of the fabric, the length of the vest, its pocket detailing, and adjustable back belt give this item such a timely fresh look, especially when worn with leggings, boots, over skinny jeans...the possibilities are endless. A true versatile addition to your spring wardrobe.

It's so Audrey Hepburn!
Fitted at the waist with a slightly tucked skirt, this stylish and youthful dress with its very flattering neckline can be dressed up or down to take you right from work to dinner. Pair it with a long boyfriend cardigan or blazer, flats or heels or just belt it at the waist to instantly change its look.

I love this fine gauge knit, sleeveless jumper/dress from Italy. Layered over colorful Ts, crisp white blouses, leggings or boots, it's the ideal transition garment for this time of the year. Come spring and summer, just wear it by itself with sandals and fun jewelry!
